SEARCHING FOR EVENTS

The main page of our portal always displays an up-to-date selection of interesting upcoming events.  For quick search, you can use the Search field located in the upper left part of the page. You can also search for events by category using the icons: THEATRE, MUSIC, CINEMA, FESTIVAL, CHILDREN, SPORT, OTHER. A newly available search option is also the ORGANISERS icon, in which events are categorised by each specific organiser. To view events by date, you can use the easy-to-follow calendar.

BOOKING, ORDERING AND PURCHASING TICKETS

This section will take you through the various types of bookings offered by the City Booking System CBsystem.cz to Internet users and also through the available ticket order and purchase options.

WARNING:

Event organisers might not support all the booking types listed below. For each specific type of booking, event organisers set limits by setting a date until which the ticket can be purchased through the CBsystem.cz portal using that specific booking option.

If the limit has been exceeded for all types of bookings for a certain event, a notification in the seating section will inform you that you can no longer book a ticket. In that case, you will no longer be able to add your seats of choice to your online cart.

When you have finished booking your tickets, you will be shown the number, name and expiry date of your booking as well as the ticket delivery information. You must pay for your booked tickets by the expiry date of your booking, using the payment option you have selected (personally at the sales point, bank transfer). If delivered by post, a handling fee (postage and packing charges) may be added to the ticket price. The fee will be displayed after selecting the type of booking and delivery.

Ticket Booking Options (Types)

  • In person - at a sales point
  • By post within the Czech Republic - cash on delivery
  • Invoice payment - only when agreed upon over the phone
  • eTicket - card payment online

Information about Individual Payment Options for Booked Tickets

The last step of the booking process will show you the payment information. The payment for your ticket and the handling fee (in case of delivery by post to your address) must appear in the bank account specified in the last booking step by the expiry date of your booking. If not paid for by the given date, your booking will be automatically cancelled. In case of a bank transfer, we recommend that you pay immediately after booking your tickets.

In person - at a sales point

If you choose this payment option, you will pay for your tickets during a collection at one of the CBsystem sales points. A list of sales points where you can collect your tickets can be found under the SALES POINTS.

By post within the Czech Republic - cash on delivery

This type of payment is available only for delivery to an address within the Czech Republic. You will be asked to pay when collecting your tickets on delivery. Collect on delivery tickets are sent to you no later than 30 days before the event. The handling fee (postage and packing charges) is CZK 120.

Invoice

The sales point will issue and send you a request for payment. You will pay for your ticket based on the information in this document. It is crucial that the payment appears in the bank account specified in the request for payment by the due date.

If you require an invoice, fill in the necessary information during registration (IC - business registration no., DIC - tax registration no. into the Company field following the company name).

After payment, the tickets will be sent to the address specified in your order. You can use this type of payment for delivery to an address within the Czech Republic and after you have called a specific sales point, provided that the service is available.

eTicket - card payment online

Online payment by card uses the payment gateway provided by the certified payment system GP webpay. Detailed information about the GP webpay system is available on the provider’s website - Global Payments Europe. The gateway accepts VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard and Maestro cards for online transactions. The gateway uses the 3-D Secure standard to uniquely identify all parties involved in the transaction.

Detailed Guide to Purchasing eTickets

You will be asked to pay for tickets during ticket selection, which you can do by clicking on the PAY button, and you will then be redirected to the GP webpay site. You will fill in the number and the expiry date of your card as well as the 3-digit number on the back of your card - verification code - CVC2, CVV2.

If the payment is accepted, the confirmation of your payment will show up on your screen. You will also be able to print your ticket immediately by clicking on Print eTicket.

If you do not want to print your ticket immediately, you can always find it in MY ACCOUNT later.

If you choose this delivery option, you will be able to print your ticket from “MY ACCOUNT” by logging into the portal after the payment has appeared in the account specified in the last step of your booking. To print your eTicket, you will need a program that supports printing documents in PDF format (e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader).

We never send eTickets through e-mail!

TICKET SELECTION PROCESS - Adding Tickets to the Online Cart

When you have found an event you are interested in, you can enter the seating section of the event by first clicking on the date and then on the red “Tickets” icon.

You book, order and purchase tickets using a graphically pleasing seating plan to select the seat you are interested in. The booking system was designed to make it impossible to sell more than one ticket for the same seat. It may occasionally happen that another customer books a seat in the meantime. In such a case, you will be notified that the booking process was unsuccessful, and, where applicable, also told which of the seats was not booked successfully.

  1. Step – SEAT SELECTION

When you have entered the seating section, you will find a legend that shows the price categories and empty/taken seat signs under the name and date of the event. After clicking on your chosen seat, confirm your selection using the “Add to cart” button. Your tickets will now appear in your online cart. You can proceed to the ticket payment and delivery options by clicking on “Continue”. Choose a ticket payment and delivery option from the list in this section. If you make a mistake in seat selection, you can use the button to remove individual tickets or whole events from your cart. When you are finally satisfied with your ticket selection, you can click the button and continue with your booking/order.

  1. Step – VERIFICATION DATA

In this step, you will be asked to fill in your contact information; in two different ways, depending on the booking/order type you have selected. If you have chosen the Collect in person booking option, the system will ask you to fill in your first name, surname, address, phone number and e-mail address. For the other types of bookings and orders, you will be asked to log in. If you were logged in before starting your ticket selection, your contact information will be filled in automatically and you will be redirected to the next step.

  1. Step – TICKET BOOKING / PAYMENT

This step is where you finish your booking. The system will generate a booking number that you will need to further handle your tickets. You will be given detailed information on how to further handle your tickets, about the validity of your booking, collection and, if you have selected the Bank transfer payment option, also payment information.

If you have chosen to pay online using your card, this step will redirect you to the payment gateway, where you will be asked to fill in your payment card information.
